Visitors in Milan might have the need to find a cheap internet service. Often hotels don’t have a connection, or maybe it’s expensive.
Depending on how long you are staying, there could be two solutions: if you’re not stopping in the country for only a couple of days, you coul check if there’s any offer from a mobile internet provider.
You could buy an internet key and a SIM card, and since they work in the whole country, you could use them even when you leave Milan as long as you remain in Italy.
For example, if you were to go today (july 2011) in a TIM store (Tim, Vodafone, Tre and Wind are the four companies that provide mobile internet in Italy) with 59 € you could buy the internet key and 3 months of unlimited internet connection. The good thing is, since there is no contract, you can just throw the SIM away and keep the internet key when you don’t need it anymore.
The other option is going to an internet point. There are some in the city, but unfortunately I haven’t found a directory of all of them.
That’s why I’ve decided to look for them and make a list. Since Via Domus is located in Città Studi, near Lambrate FS, that’s where I’ll start.
In the link page there's a link to a file with a list of the internet points in the neighborhood.
